This dataset provides the locations of:
1) Public bike parking facilities including crowd-sourced bike rack locations and the city's posts and rings; and
2) Public bike repair stands.
Data is primarily for the downtown and university areas.

This data was crowd-sourced, and can be used in conjunction with the post and ring parking dataset as well as the bike route datasets to plan bike travel in Edmonton.

This dataset is deprecated, and may be deleted in the future.

For crowd-sourced bike rack and bike repair stand locations, please use OpenStreetMap. We are working to ensure that our City-owned bike racks are up to date in OpenStreetMap to provide a more comprehensive picture of bicycle parking in Edmonton. This deprecation decision will reduce circularity.
